Employee's Leg Broken in Trip over Stool

On April 14, 2007, Employee #1 was assigned to clean a room. She used a foot stool to reach the top of a machine. When she finished cleaning the top of the machine, she discarded paper products into the waste basket, turned, and tripped on the stool. She hit the wall, fell to the floor, and landed on the left side of her body. She sustained a broken right femur. She was treated by company emergency medical personnel and transported to the hospital, where she was hospitalized for seven days.
