Employee Lacerates Left Knee When Saw Kicks Back

On July 18, 2002, Employee #1, a framing contractor, was engaged in framing a 144-unit apartment complex under construction. He was using a skill saw to cut a piece of fascia when the saw kicked back. Employee #1 suffered a laceration to his left knee, for which he was hospitalized.
