EMPLOYEE REVEIVED SERIOUS CUTS FROM TABLE SAW

Employee #1 was ripping a 14-inch-long by 4 inch-wide piece of oak on a table saw. After making the cut Employee #1 reached down to remove the excess sliver of wood and contacted the top of the blade with his left hand causing serious injury to four fingers. Employee #1 was transported the hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of the injuries Employee #1 suffered amputation of the four fingers.
