Investigation Summary
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on September 13, 2000, Employee #1 was in the process of feeding the end of a newspaper roll into the Number 4 high press, Model Number SCC, when his right hand ring finger was caught between two rollers and was amputated at the tip. Apparently, as he was feeding the paper into the machine with his right hand he was using his left hand to push a jogging button that would move the rollers helping him to insert the paper. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
