Employee Falls Off Ladder

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on June 2, 2010 Employee #1, a plumber, sustained a fracture to his right ring finger, a sprained wrist and bruised left thigh, while working in the treatment plant. The injured was seven to eight feet up on an extension ladder, working on a frozen valve on a scum line connected to pump number one, when the ladder slipped back, and he slid down and then fell to the floor. Employee #1 was transported to urgent care and then transferred to a hospital, after a couple of hours.
