Employee injured when run over by forklift

On February 19, 2002, Employee #1 and his supervisor were walking along the corridor of a warehouse. During this time, a coworker was operating a Yale forklift truck moving pallet loads onto the conveyor of a wrapping machine within the warehouse. As the forklift was transporting the pallets, Employee #1 and his supervisor crossed the forklift's pathway. The coworker reversed the direction of the forklift, and started backing up from the wrapping machine. As the forklift backed up, it struck Employee #1, breaking his leg. He was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
