Inmate's Leg Is Amputated after Forklift Collides with Beam

On March 13, 2006, Inmate #1 was incarcerated at a correctional facility and using a forklift without authorization. He ran the forklift into a support beam in the maintenance building. Inmate #1's leg was over the side of the forklift, and it was crushed between the forklift and the support beam. He was hospitalized, and his leg was amputated.
