Employee's Finger Is Caught and Amputated

On July 7, 2005, Employee #1 was performing maintenance on a truck. He was trying to remove shackles so that a frozen pin could be removed when a leaf spring caught his little finger. He sustained an amputation of little finger between 1st and 2nd knuckle.
