Construction Employee Falls from Ladder and Fractures Leg

On June 25, 2005, an employee worked for an electrical contractor, performing his job at a new residential house. The employee was on a 6-ft ladder when he misstepped and lost his balance. He fell approximately 40 in. off the ladder and fractured his left leg. He required surgery and was hospitalized for 3 days.
