Employee Falls from Ladder

On December 10, 2002, Employee #1, a 34-year-old journeyman lather, was descending a 14-foot fiberglass ladder from the roof of a private home. He had already placed the left foot on the ladder and had just placed the right foot on the ladder, when the right foot slipped off the rung. Employee #1 fell from the ladder, fracturing his right foot. He was hospitalized.
