EMPLOYEE'S HANDS BURNED DUE TO CLEANING CHEMICALS

On July 18, 1997, an employee at a hazardous waste facility was cleaning a truck. He was instructed by his supervisors on proper personal protective equipment required for the task, but did not wear the proper gloves. He suffered minor burns on his hands. He received treatment from his personal physician and chose not to return to work.
