Employee injured when conveyor system collapses

At approximately 5:50 a.m. on February 12, 2002, Employee #1 was operating a rotating conveyor system. The conveyor transports concrete to the construction site from a remote concrete production facility. He was in the operator's cab which was attached to the conveyor system. The conveyor system failed structurally and collapsed. Employee #1 fell approximately 20 ft. sustaining internal and head injuries and was hospitalized.
