Investigation Summary

Investigation Nr: 201063971
Event: 06/04/2001
Employee struck by trusses and hospitalized after fall

Employees #1, #2, and #3 worked for Branco Construction. The three were on site conducting framing operations for residential single home development. They were moving trusses while on the second story framework. Employee #1 was in the center of the trusses, while Employees #2 and #3 were at the end of the trusses. Three trusses at a time were being moved. The trusses were heavy and they slipped from Employee #1's grasp, hitting him. This caused him to lose balance, and fall 10 ft.
