Employee killed when struck by truck in traffic accident

Employee #1 and a coworker were finishing the concrete curbs on the east side of the median at the intersection of a new street and a highway. The roadways were open and the stoplights were operating in all directions. An automobile headed east on the boulevard ran a red light and struck a southbound truck broadside, causing the truck to overturn and careen into the workers in the median. Employee #1 was killed; his coworker sustained a fractured leg.
