Employee killed after being struck by a caterpillar

On November 10, 2001, Employee #1 was working with two coworkers. They were locking the container pins onto the chassis of the hustler, then sending the vehicle to the ship and waiting for another truck. Employee #1 accidentally walked in front of a 1984 Caterpillar (Model Number DV-43), Rough Terrain Container Handler (Serial Number 62400324). The machine struck Employee #1 and he was taken to hospital for his injuries. On November 14, 2001, Employee #1 died from an apparent blood clot related to his injuries.
