ELECTRIC SHOCK - CONTACT WITH UNDERGROUND LINE THRU BACKHOE

An electric utility employee was operating a backhoe to excavate an underground power line. While he was leaning against the backhoe with his left hand, the machine struck the 750-volt power line. The employee was electrocuted.
