Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employeed worked in food preparation in a high school kitchen and served food to the students. The employee's last day of work was October 15, 2021. The employee began to experience COVID-19 related symptoms on October 18, 2021, during the school's fall break which ran from from October 16, 2021, to October 24, 2021. On October 25, 2021, the employee was hospitalized with COVID-19. On November 14, 2021, the employee died. The date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicated in the narrative, but the employer did not enforce the use of face masks.
