Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee had been working as an Assistant Manager at a full-service restaurant. The employee was a part of a management team and one of his coworkers on the team also tested positive for COVID-19 at the same time. The employee and the coworker were both told to quarantine at home. On August 11, 2021, the employee was hospitalized with COVID-19 related complications and at 9:20 a.m. on August 24, 2021, he died. Information regarding engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls for COVID-19 are not included in the narrative.
