Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee worked in the cuvette manufacturing area. The employee tested positive for Covid-19 on January 21, 2021, was hospitalized on January 29, 2021, and died due to Covid-19 related illness at 4:35 p.m. on February 1, 2021. In the days prior to contracting COVID-19 the employee had been working in both the cuvette production area and packaging area, and one other coworker had contracted COVID-19 on or around January 13, 2021 and the coworker had been sent home to quarantine. The exact source of the employee's Sars-CoV-2 infection was not able to be determined.
