An employee had worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at a skilled nursing facility. The employee was not assigned to work in the COVID-19 unit. The emplo yee tested positive for COVID-19 on September 22, 2020. On September 24, 2020, p rior to receiving the positive test results, the employee reported feeling ill a t work and went home. On September 27, 2020, the employee was hospitalized until she died on October 12, 2020. The date, time and other details leading up to ex posure are not indicated in the narrative. Information regarding engineering, ad ministrative and personal protective equipment controls for COVID-19 are also no t included in the narrative.
