Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At approximately 12:00 p.m. on August 13, 2020, an employee worked as a part-time receptionist. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the employee's job duties included, but were not limited to; performing temperature checks/screening all employees and visitors entering the establishment; fielding phone calls, and emails; and filing paperwork. The employee's last day of work was on April 18, 2020, due to not feeling well. On April 21, 2020, the employee went to the physician and was tested for COVID-19. The employee tested positive for the virus. While self-isolating at home, the employee began to feel worse and was admitted to the hospital and placed on a ventilator. On May 16, 2020, the employee died.
