Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At 12:00 p.m. on May 27, 2020, an employee, who was working in the loading dock area at the JBS plant in Worthington, MN, acquired the COVID-19 virus. He was hospitalized and intubated. Five employees in the loading dock area tested positive for COVID-19 at the time of the employee's illness. The employee died on 5/27/20 due to acute respiratory distress syndrome due to the COVID-19 virus.
