Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on May 19, 2020, an employee provided home health care on a patient who was not known to have COVID-19. The patient reported to the employer sometime between April 24 and April 30, 20202 that she/he tested positive for COVID-19. The employee started showing symptoms of COVID-19 on April 30, 2020, and was quarantined. The employee was admitted to the hospital on May 1, 2020, and received a COVID-19 positive test result on May 4, 2020. The employee later died from the complications of the virus.
