Summary Nr: 126058.015 Event: 04/29/2020Employee With Covid-19 Infection Dies
An employee was working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at an assisted li ving facility for the elderly. She was working on a general care floor. On April 16, 2020, she felt ill and began to experience symptoms of an infection with CO VID-19. On April 22, 2020, she was hospitalized. On April 29, 2020, she died. Th e causes of her death were bronchial pneumonia, viral COVID-19, and polycystic o vary syndrome (PCOS) COVID-19. This was an OSHA-covered fatality.
