Summary Nr: 126144.015Event: 03/10/2020Employee Is Struck By Falling Rack, Later Dies
At 12:00 a.m. on March 10, 2020, an employee was hooking up parts with a rack, a nd these parts were tall. The rack was overtop the parts, and the employee was h ooking the parts up. The rack weighed approximately 570 pounds. The rack came u nhooked and fell onto the employee and crushed him. The employee was, then, tr ansported to the IU Hospital, where the employee later died.
