At approximately 7:30 a.m. on July 10, 2019, Employee #1 and #2 were performing an alignment assessment. Coworkers stated there was tension between the two that started earlier that morning. due to Employee#1 telling Employee #2 what to do. Words were exchanged between the two employees. At approximately 8:00 a.m., Employee #2 decided to clock out and leave work without informing the manager. Around 10:45 a.m., Employee #2 entered the facility and clocked back in and went over to where Employee #1 was working. Words were exchanged again, and Employee #2 walked up on Employee #1, and at that time. Employee #1 brandished a .380 pistol from his pocket and pointed it at Employee #2. Employee #2 was shot at close range. Emergency services responded and Employee #2 died from his injuries at the hospital. | ||||||
