At 3:00 p.m. on April 19, 2019, an employee at a tow-truck manufacturing facility was tasked with taking the keys out of the ignition of each truck on the lot and placing them in a lockbox at the end of his shift. While reaching into a manual transmission truck to remove the keys from the ignition, one of the trucks lurched forward 1 to 2 feet and stuck the next truck over. As a result, the employee was killed when he was pinned between the door and frame of the truck.
