At 6:30 a.m. on February 20, 2019, an employee had removed a guard on the fan belt to check and see if the belt was broken or missing and caught his left hand's ring finger and pinky in a nip point at the pulley. The employee amputated is ring ringer and fractured the tip of his pinky. The employee was hospitalized.
