Summary Nr: 113433.015Event: 12/06/2018Employee Fractures Leg When Caught By Granite Slabs As They
At 1:30 p.m. on December 6, 2018, an employee was assisting with handling and moving granite slabs from the A-frames on which they were stored on outside. The employee was using a metal pipe to separate a granite slab in order for the forklift to pick it up when several slabs moved and fell on top of him. The employee sustained several contusions and fractured his left leg. The employee was transported to Palomar Health and was admitted for treatment.
