Employee partially amputates thumb when caught by wicket mac

At 6:00 a.m. on November 13, 2018, an employee and a coworker were cleaning a wicket machine. The employee was wiping down the machine with a rag and alcohol without locking the machine out. The employee wrapped the rag around his hand and the rotating roller caught his hand, partially amputating his right thumb.
