Investigation Summary
At 2:36 p.m. on August 27, 2019, an employee was riding on a shade trailer that was being towed by the crew boss in order to reach the employee parking area at the other end of the fig field. A tractor on the left hand side of the crew bosses' car was also moving in the same direction. Once they arrived to the edge of the field, the crew boss slowed down to allow the tractor to make the left turn first. However, when he slowed down, an employee got off the right side of the trailer, and she was ran over by the right tire of the shade trailer, resulting in a fractured ankle and ribs.
