Investigation Summary
At 8:39 p.m. on February 10, 2018, an employee was using a piece of wood to lower a DOT trailer hook while inside the trailer. The employee's coworker pulled forward while the hook was still engaged and the trailer bounced back towards the loading dock, catching the employee's hand between the dock plate and trailer. The employee fractured his hand and was hospitalized.
