Investigation Summary
At 8:45 a.m. on December 12, 2017, an employee was working for a manufacturer of wood containers and pallets. He was working with a machine that had a hood. He was trying to move a block of wood to where he wanted it to be, when his hand became located between the block and the hood. His hand went up underneath the hood. He sustained the partial amputation of the ring finger on his left hand. He was hospitalized.
