Summary Nr: 101605.015 Event: 12/18/2017Employee Receives First And Second Degree Gasoline Burns
On December 18, 2017, Employee #1 was salvaging plastic gas tank from a wrecked car held up by forklift. Employee #1 pierced a plastic gas tank to drain gasolin e into a bucket. Employee #1 spilled gasoline and it ignited. The employee susta ined first degree burns to his left shin and left forearm and second degree burn s to left side of his face. The employee was released from the hospital the same day.
