Employee injured in fall through skylight hole

Employee #1 was preparing a roof to hold a skylight. A hole had been cut in the roof, and he was removing a bolt that was in the way by striking it with his hammer. He missed the bolt, and the force of his swing caused him to go through the hole. Employee #1 fell 24 ft, sustaining injuries that required hospitalization.
