Investigation Summary
Employee #1, of Clark Quality Roofing, was working at the edge of a roof 16 ft above the ground. The nineteen-year-old worker was standing with his back to the edge when he either took a step backward or slipped, and fell to the sidewalk. About halfway down, he struck a steel beam. Employee #1 was hospitalized with a concussion and went into a coma.
