Employee's hand injured when caught in router

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on March 8, 1996, Employee #1, of Master Woodworks Inc., was using a stationary router to shape a wooden part. He was not using the jig, which had been designed and was normally used for this operation. The piece of wood became caught and was twisted, pulling Employee #1's hand into the router bit. He sustained lacerations that required surgery.
