Employee #1 was roofing a multiplex modular building without fall protection. He was walking a chalk line backward down a roof valley when he stepped off the roof edge and fell 12 ft 6 in. to asphalt. Employee #1 suffered three broken fingers, a fractured skull, and a fractured face.
