Employee injured in fall from extension ladder

Employee #1, of Emerald Electronics Corp., was securing computer network cables to a beam in the ceiling when the heavy duty extension ladder he was using slipped, causing him to fall approximately 20 ft to the cement floor. The emergency action team assisted Employee #1 until he was transported by ambulance to Sacred Heart Hospital. He was admitted for treatment for head trauma and other injuries.
