Event: 10/25/2004
Employee is injured in fall from trailer

At approximately 9:00 a.m. on October 25, 2004, Employee #1, a contractor working for Coastal Green as a quality control production worker, was working in a large vegetable production complex which accepts product from the field, prepares the product for transport, and stores the product until it is transported. She was retrieving vegetables from the trailer to perform a quality control inspection on the product when she slipped and fell from a trailer tongue, approximately 1.5 feet to the asphalt. She sustained a back injury and was transported by private automobile to a Doctor's office where she was treated and released back to work. Four days later she went on her own to the Emergency Room.
