Employee Fractures Wrist and Knee Cap in Fall from Roof

At 4:30 p.m. on April 22, 2005, Employee #1, a roofer, was remodeling a residential single family house. He was working on the north slope of the roof, which was perpendicular towards the garage door. The roof slope was 5.84:12 and the height was 19 ft and 8 in. The eave to the ground was 19 ft 10 in. Employee #1 slipped and fell from the roof. He fractured his left wrist and right knee cap. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
