Employee Fractures Back - Heavy Wall Falls

At approximately 8:00 a.m. on November 6, 2000, Employee #1 fractured his back when a heavy wall fell. He was one of fourteen employees helping to lift a stud framed wall into position. However, the wall became too heavy and fell. Employee #1 went to a local hospital for treatment where he stayed for six days. His employer failed to provide adequate training.
