Employee's finger lacerated when caught in machine

On December 24, 1998, Employee #1 was operating a high-speed transport base. He noticed a loose belt and opened the access door. While the machine was running, he started adjusting the belt. Employee #1's finger got entangled in the grade tube and he sustained a lacerated finger. Employee #1 was treated in the Emergency Room in Simi Valley, California.
