Employee injures ankle in fall from house framework

On June 21, 2001, Employee #1 was climbing the side of a residence under construction to access the framework. When he reached the height at which he wanted to work, he lost his footing and fell approximately 14 ft 4 in. to the ground. He sustained an injury to his ankle and possibly a fracture. Employee #1 chose to climb the framing instead of using a ladder.
