Employee Loses Finger Using A Rebar Bending Machine

On June 18, 2001, Employee #1 lost his upper index finger when his hand came in contact with the rebar bending machine. His employer failed to ensure that the bending machine had a guard. He was taken to VC Medical Center where he remained until June 23, 2001.
