Employee's fingers injured in printing press

At 1:40 p.m. on May 14, 1998, Employee #1 was operating a Hamada 770D #3 printing press. He was trying to unjam a run of paper when he apparently inserted his fingers to turn the adjusting knob and became caught in the printer gears. He was transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina, CA, where he was treated for finger injuries and released. There were no witnesses to the accident; Employee was engaged in his normal work responsibilities at the time he was injured.
