Employee injured from fall at theater set

At 7:20 a.m. on April 1, 2002, Employee #1, master of ceremonies for Universal Studios Hollywood, entered a set of an open air theater to talk with a coworker. This set was used to perform many staged stunts, which included a balcony designed to collapse sending the stunt person 12 feet to a foam cushion. In the process of talking with his coworker, Employee #1 leaned on the railing, which broke way and he fell. Employee #1 broke both wrists.
