Investigation Summary
On February 9, 1998, a 14-person crew lifted at 52-ft by 12-ft framed wooden wall into place on a construction site. As the wall was lifted, it hung up on a foundation stud. The employees could no longer support the wall and it fell and struck Employee #1 in the head, killing him. No bracings were used to support the wall.
