Investigation Summary
At approximately 1:50 p.m. on August 18, 2005, Employee #1, working for California Painting, was told by the employer to set up an extension ladder on top of a scaffold to gain more height to reach the bathroom windows that needed to be taped. Employee #1 was standing at the top of the extension ladder on the scaffold at a height of 35 feet and fell. He suffered multiple fractures to his right wrist and the right side of his face. He was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, where he was hospitalized for his injuries. .
