Employee Falls Off Ladder

On February 16, 2005, Employee #1, a window glazier, employed by ABC Window Company, traveled alone in a company truck, installing and removing windows on a residential construction project. The top of the window he needed to work on was 17 ft, 8 in. above the floor. Working alone, he placed an extension ladder on a paper floor covering and climbed 17 feet to remove the window, when he fell and broke his foot. He was hospitalized for two days and received subsequent treatment for several months.
